Case Study – Self Catering Luxury at Blyton Ponds
Angela, who runs Blyton Ponds near Gainsborough, came to us with the idea of creating a semi-detached lodge, which would enable her to let out two self-contained lodges under the one roof!
When replacing one of their older units, she wanted something that would offer that VIP experience for her guests. The park is an Adults Only Fishing venue with 4 ponds and is very popular with couples and groups of friends alike. The idea of replacing the older unit with 2 luxury lodges complete with Hot Tubs seemed like the most logical step in taking the business further.
Two of the reasons she decided to choose Urban Marque for their build, are the bespoke nature of our lodges and the helpful “package” system we use when quoting. These two options combined meant that our client could have the exact size and layout that they wanted and they were able to select the packages they wanted us to complete – and the rest they would finish themselves in order to keep within their business budget.
The client had decided to opt for their own bespoke design, along with the Urban Plinth package which was installed by Urban Marque. They also opted for the Insulation package and Cladding package which were supply only for them to install themselves. The rest of the build was completed by the client’s own trades people.
The result is, two beautiful semi-detached lodges, each with a private courtyard and Hot Tub. All installed within budget due to our flexible packages and are built to the exact specification the client wanted.
The accommodation this cleverly designed 114m2 Luxury lodge provides is as follows:
Unit 1 - 2 x Bedrooms (1 En-suite) Bathroom, Kitchen and Lounge.
Unit 2 - 2 x Bedrooms (1 En-suite) Bathroom, Kitchen and Lounge.
The design also includes 2 x sets of patio doors to each lodge that brings the outside in on sunny days.
Patios and deck areas finish off this very desirable high-end yet affordable accommodation with the luxurious touch of the hot tub to each unit.
