About Anne Parkin
Anne Parkin has a passion for play and has been working to create quality play spaces for children for the last twenty-five years. She always keeps the child at the heart of any design and this is integral to the principles held by Proludic who aim to ensure that the spontaneous nature of play is supported in a context of safety.
Children are given the means to experience their childhood to the full, whatever their abilities. Children play in different ways and this should always be embraced to support the way age, gender and or ability interacts with play opportunities.
Proludic pride themselves on delivering the WOW factor and this has been achieved through installations of different sizes and budgets. Notable projects have been the magical play area at ‘Deer Wood’ holiday village from the (group Pierre & Vacances) Center Parcs, the customised Queen Elizabeth Carrier at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.
Memories of our childhood are framed by where we played. This is because play is integral to a child. This seminar will outline the key points showing how you can enhance your existing facilities with a bespoke play space. Anne will show you how families with children of all ages can benefit from a quality play space. You will be inspired by images illustrating the kind of play experiences possible and outline the findings from our own research undertaken about the provision of play in the leisure sector. Large or small: You dream it, we create it!
