Haven have announced that they will be reinvesting £3m to redevelop the swimming pool complex at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in North Wales for the 2017 season. This is part of a total £5.5m reinvestment in the holiday park for 2017.
Hafan y Môr, located in Pwllheli, is home to a whole array of activities and facilities including 1,400 pitches. Guests can enjoy breath-taking views across the Llyn Peninsula on the Aerial Adventure course, relax on the boating lake, have fun in the indoor SportsDrome and take part in expert led outdoor nature activities.
Guests can also expect to be greeted with impressive views as the park boasts a stunning back drop of Snowdonia. And with Snowdonia National Park being just 25 minutes away, there is plenty to explore in the local area too.
The new for 2017 swimming pool complex will include an exciting new flume slide, a children’s pool including fun water features such as tipping buckets and new water slides, a laned pool for committed swimmers and a new Milly’s coffee and cookie bar.
Andrew Baker, General Manager at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park said:
“This is the biggest single investment by Haven at any site in the UK this year. This shows they have faith in the site and the wider area and is testament to the hard work of the staff here at Hafan. “
Andrew Baker continues: “This will make a big difference to us. There is always an increase in bookings when large investments are made like this, and we are already seeing a rise in bookings just from some of the social media coverage. “This investment is very good news for the future of the site.”
Work on the redevelopment started in November and is on target to be open for the park’s opening date in March.
